We built NSOLVIA because we lived the problem.

For years our own store was invisible — good products no one could find. NSOLVIA is what we wished we’d had.

The story

NSOLVIA began as a survival project. Not in a boardroom — in a store that was dying.

We ran online stores for years, including our own shapewear brand. The products were good. The store was real. But it stayed invisible. It never ranked. Getting seen meant paying for SEO no one could explain, running ad systems that demanded a full team and a budget only big companies had, and building a catalog that took a photographer, a model, a retoucher, and a studio — an assembly line a small merchant simply can’t sustain.

And even when something worked, it was fragile: an audience built over years could vanish overnight with a single platform decision.

The pattern never changed — small and mid-size merchants doing everything right, and still losing to bigger players who could simply outspend them.

What started as a fight for visibility became a search for understanding.
The discovery

When AI and large language models arrived, we saw what most people missed.

Trying to save that store, we started building — first a way to create marketing, then a way to sell, then a way to make machines actually understand the products. Working upward, piece by piece, we kept hitting the same root cause: the machines that increasingly decide what shoppers see couldn’t understand the catalog underneath.

That root cause became the Semantic Commerce Layer — the foundation NSOLVIA is built around. We didn’t start at the top and design down; we arrived there by chasing a real problem, one painful step at a time.

What we believe

Presence is no longer the bar. Interpretability is.

The gap that decides your next decade isn’t whether your products are online — it’s whether a machine can understand them. NSOLVIA exists to close that gap for the merchants who don’t have an enterprise budget or a ten-person growth team — the ones we used to be.
